I love to be inspired; inspiration keeps me motivated. Reading about people overcoming their struggles inspires me the most. Since I have been given a second chance at life, I decided that regardless of how this journey turns out, I want to motivate and inspire people. I refuse to disappoint myself and give up.
I was lucky enough to have my stroke at the age of 27. I say lucky in terms of perspective. I read about some stroke survivors that had their stroke at a really young age and spent most of their lives going through the recovery process. They eventually moved forward with their lives by starting a family and establishing themselves, which was inspiring to me and gave me hope.
If people are able to do more with less, think about what we take for granted. There are people out there who are overcoming all sorts of odds and are able to move forward with their lives. Always appreciate what you have and be grateful that you are as blessed as you are. Aspire to inspire.
