To grow as an individual, you have to constantly challenge yourself. Every challenge you overcome and conquer makes you a stronger and better person.
Throughout my recovery, I have faced the challenges I encountered and have tried to push myself more by taking on newer challenges, which has helped me become a stronger person. The most recent challenge I took on was the 5K walk for the Heart and Stroke Foundation’s Ride for Heart event, which helped me gauge how far I could walk.
I try to set challenging goals on daily basis and when doing so I keep in mind that success takes time and requires patience and persistence. I believe that with patience, anything is possible. When you challenge yourself, you push yourself to the edge of your abilities and test your potential, which is key for growth.
