In life, it’s important to have some sort of drive which motivates you and inspires you to get to where you want to be. At the end of the day, it is the why.

After my stroke, I had no clue what the future would hold for me, so I decided I would go after what I wanted. During my spare time at the rehab centre (between therapy sessions), I started to set short and long term goals. At the end of the day, I was not looking to go back to where I was before the stroke. I wanted to be better than what I once was.

Becoming the best version of myself became my drive. Self-improvement and growth motivated me. I jumped on any opportunity that helped me move forward. Once you find your drive, nothing can stop yo
