MY JOURNEY, SAJINPROGRESS, THIS IS MY STORY

I Lost My Sight But Found A Vision

One of my setbacks post stroke was losing sight in my left eye. I have been through a few surgeries and the odds of recovering my sight have not been that great . I have adapted and moved forward, not letting it hold me back.

Since this has affected my peripheral vision, I have not been able to get my driver’s license back.  Considering I love my cars and driving, this is definitely a heartbreaker. Luckily, I don’t have to depend on driving to get around the city and places I need to be. I am a strong believer of “where there is a will there is a way”.

As I adapted and found ways to get around my limitations, I realized that with hope and patience, anything is possible. I am here to show stroke survivors that there is always a chance as long as you don’t give up and you utilize any available resources. With LifeafterStroke I hope to inspire other stroke survivors and show them that this is not the end, but a new beginning.
